Therapists, genetic counselors, and support group leaders,
tell me if this sounds familiar…
As a biracial, LGBTQ+, and donor-conceived social worker, I haven’t just heard the human impact stories from the DCP, parents, and donors I’ve supported. I’ve lived it.
Let’s do right by parents, donors, and donor-conceived people.
Clinical Consultations
As a clinician (LSW, PA/NJ), Max provides consultation on topics including:
Identity development, including race, culture, & ethnicity
Searching & connecting with sibling groups and relatives
Telling and talking with (minor or adult) children about donor conception
Max’s experience spans individual and group work with donor-conceived adults, Asian Americans and immigrants, Black and Latina women after pregnancy/infant loss, and LGBTQ+ high school-age youth.
Subject Matter Expertise
Max provides sensitivity reads and feedback for books, articles, research projects, marketing collateral, and more.
Max welcomes projects that are socially inclusive, nuanced, and meaningfully elevate the diverse experiences of DCP, parents, and donors. (To learn more about BTC’s values, click here.)
